Following the disappointment of having to cancel the Copperfest 2011, we are pleased to announce that Copperfest 2012 will definitely be going ahead
We are delighted to announce that after several meetings we can now officially announce that The Copperfest will join The Vikings Festival for 2012 and will be held on the 27,28 and 29 of July 2012, this we feel will give the weekend a variety of entertainment day and night. Businesses from across the region are invited to get involved in the Amlwch’s 2012 Copperfest Music Festival.
We have many ways your business can get involved and many ideas for helping you promote your business product or service through Copperfest 2012. We are currently looking for companies that would like to be a part of the biggest free music festival in North Wales.
We have sponsorship and marketing packages available to suit all businesses, however sponsorship of the bands limited and getting booked up fast.

I recently picked up a leaflet for the Amlwch Viking Copperfest that is being held over the 27/28 and 29th July. Whilst I am local I do consider the information produced is limited. In order for the festival to be a success surely it would be useful for families and visitors from outside the area, who will turn up to the event to know what is actually on at the Festival including other fringe activities, I have friends who will be attending the event who have asked me what is on, where, what time – for anybody outside the area it is all a bit of a mystery. Where are all the event/activities being held and importantly a schedule of the times to see the events? There does appear to be limited information on the website and on the leaflet of the three days events. With the opportunity to showcase our great town/heritage in less than a month and promote tourism from a marketing perspective this really is an opportunity being missed!
